The Ridgeway Community School Board's October Board Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 28th at 5:30 p.m. in the Ridgeway Community School Cooper Classroom room.

Individuals who wish to address the board during the public comment period will need to be present at the school and share your thoughts in person. Individuals who would like to share their thoughts with the board members in writing may do so by sending them to the school office (office@ridgewayschool.org) who will forward them to the other board members, or by emailing all the board members individually.
Our math curriculum spirals through topics throughout the school year. As the year goes on, the topics continue to increase in difficulty.
The curriculum consists of three components: Meeting, New Concept, and Guided Class Practice of the new concept
This week we are working on: Meeting Topics:
month, days of the week, year, date
Counting to 100 by 1's and 10's
Identifying a missing number on a hundreds chart
New Concepts/Guided Practice:
Placing objects on a real graph
Identifying ordinal positions to the fourth
Paying for items using pennies
Solving a story problem by acting it out with teddy bear counters
Building shapes on geoboards
Drawing shape pictures while listening to directions using positional words (above, below, next to, between, etc.)
