2025 Fire Safety Poster Contest

Ridgeway's Kindergarten to 5th-grade students are invited to participate in this year's National Fire Safety Poster contest, which is being sponsored locally by the Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Department. Posters must be done on white poster board or construction paper and be a maximum of 12" x 18" and a minimum of 11 " x 17". This year's fire safety theme, "Sprinkler Your Home for a Fire Safe Zone," Needs to be written in clear, easy-to-read letters on the front of the poster, along with a colored picture that shows a house with interior sprinklers and other fire safety characteristics. Children whose posters advance to the regional or state level may win cash prizes. Additional information about the contest as well as examples of posters that have one in past years are available on the 2025 Fire Safety Flyer which is being sent home with all K-5 students, along with the poster board for them to make their posters on. Posters are due back at school by Tuesday, October 28th in order to be considered for the contest.
