Missoula Children's Theatre's Cinderella

Missoula Children's Theratre Cinderella
Thanks to a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board and support from Ridgeway Parents and Community (RPAC) Ridgeway Community School is able to offer our students, alumni, and area youth, the opportunity to participate in a youth theatre production led by professional actors from the nationally known Missoula Children’s Theatre Company.

The theatre companies residency at RCS will take place March 4th to 9th 2024 and will be open to Kindergarten to 8th grade students from Ridgeway Community School and the surrounding community.
Participation in this original musical production of Cinderella will be based on pre-registration for the cast which will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis with completion of the registration form and payment of the fee indicated below.  The students who have registered will audition for their particular parts after school on Monday, March 4th. They will then rehearse every day after school until their first performance on the evening of Friday, March 8th. A second performance will take place on Saturday afternoon, March 9th.

The week of this residency is Ridgeway's Parent Transport Week and the same week that many schools in Winona have their Spring Break so those students attending schools in Winona should be able to participate if they can make transportation arrangements to get to Ridgeway by 2:30 p.m. each afternoon. We will also welcome up to 4 middle and high school students with theatre backgrounds to serve as assistant directors.

The cast will be comprised of the following number of students:
Up to 16 - Kindergarteners to 7 year olds: rehearsals will go from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Up to 44 - 8 year olds to 8th graders: rehearsals may go (depending on the part they are cast in)
from 2:30 to 6:45 p.m. Monday to Thursday and from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday (3/8).

Included with each registration is a light supper/large snack served at the rehearsal break from 4:30 to 4:45 p.m.
